Flying Eagle Penny or cents were minted from 1856 to 1858. They were designed by James B Longacre and minted by the Philadelphia mint. They were also minted after the civil war.
They are small cents and are composed of 88% copper and 12% nickel.
These coins are very rare and very valuable. In great condition, these coins are worth over twenty thousand dollars. Even the ones in bad condition are worth thousands of dollars.
