Are you frustrated and in search of hobbies to explore and pick from? Don’t Look Any Further

Best Hobbies To Pick Up In Your 20S

I spent a lot of time researching from my personal life, and online all the various hobbies you can pick up in your 20’s.

I know there are a lot of hobbies to pick up in your 20’s, but trust me not all are good for certain age groups especially in your 20s.

Here is a list of 21 best hobbies you can choose from.

1. Learn a New Language

A new language? Sounds daunting, but a study has found that learning a new language improves your memory, makes you are a better multitasker, and allows for creativity. It will likely increase your chances of landing your dream job. Why? because companies really love people who are bilingual. Start learning the basics with free apps like Duolingo and Memrise and you might be on your way to mastery.

2. Photography (Learn To Take Awesome Pictures And To Use Photo Editing Softwares)

Photography is about capturing events, people and artifacts. It comes in different forms such as Food Photography, Nature photography, Still Life Photography, Fashion Photography, and many others. Funny as it sounds, it won’t cost much to pick up. All it requires is a camera and the desire to experience the world around you.

Current technologies have made it possible to capture jaw-breaking pictures with your phone. It can also evolve into a very lucrative side business if done right. Consider taking online classes at udemy.com or skillshare.com and creativelive.com. They are great resources to help you on your journey.

3. Blogging

Blogging is perfect for you if you intend to work from home and online. It can be very rewarding. It has been one of my favorite hobbies as it allows you to share what you know with others. The wealthiest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, started a website and grew it into a multibillion-dollar company. Imagine if in your 20’s you start a website that can earn you a substantial income every month.

4. Web development

Do you like technology? If yes, then web development is also another hobby you can pick up and grow. As with everything, the more you learn, the more you grow. A tip, follow a step-by-step guide when learning web programming and learn continually.

Companies like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon pay millions of dollars to app developers every year. You can program for Android or IOs apps using programs like Kotlin, Android Studio, and Swift.

6. Gaming

Gaming as a hobby is very interactive and beneficial for boosting brainpower, but it can be addictive if not tackled in the right way. Be selective with your games.

There are a variety of games like board games, retro games, first-person among others.

You can choose to develop games rather playing them.
